Occasionally when you visit my blog you’ll find that I link out to other websites. This is because I don’t just write for myself, but for other publishers like We Are Explorers as well.
I was fortunate enough to take a range of Campers Pantry Meals and Freeze-Dried Ice Cream (yes, ice cream!) on a hike to the Jatbula Trail this year. And wowee, for the ultralight hiker, I don’t think you can do wrong with this brand.
The meals are incredibly light, vacuum-packed to take up the least amount of physical space, are consistently delicious, and have excellent nutrition cred (look them up on the Yuka App and you won’t be disappointed).
Importantly the founder AJ is among the most passionate business owners I’ve ever met. He is obsessed with quality and producing the best meals possible. Half the photos I took are already out of date because he’s so constantly innovating and improving that the packaging has changed.
